The Crooked Wizard

The second instalment in a series of RPG zines, the Crooked Wizard is an illustrated and original tabletop RPG adventure released in August 2023.

The Crooked Wizard is a mind-bending horror campaign to be used by game masters of your favourite pen and paper role playing game. This illustrated zine will take you through the Capricoan Plains investigating the bizarre and unexplainable phenomena that has been plaguing the local farming town of Velluza.

It features annotated maps to navigate the dungeon and its surrounding areas, contains several unique and frightening monsters for your heroes to battle, along with a selection of exciting new magical items to collect. The adventure is intended for characters of levels 3-5 and is 5e compatible.

Residents of the small farming village of Velluza have been experiencing strange happenings. Mysterious disappearances... Floating animals... Five-armed men!?! Upsidedown thunderstorms?!? After a tragic loss, a wizard living in his isolated tower, began a series of experiments that would have unimaginable ramifications for the surrounding areas.

It will be releasing as both a physical edition and as a digital pdf. Both versions will have downloadable assets to be used with a virtual tabletop system such as Foundry or as printable handouts for players. The maps will be released independently as well for those interested in building their own adventure inspired by the maps alone.

A third adventure entitled, The Golden Box, is being developed and is planned to release in 2024.
